Cycling day 2 - Klostar to Bujstina

Today was a very good day.  Our first day on the tandem!  Finally Valerie was able to ride the whole day.  We rode from Klostar to Bujstina.  We would stay in the hotel Parenzana there for two nights.  We cycled through beautiful countryside and small viliages to Bajkini.  There we had lunch at the Rossi winery.

There are tons of wineries in this area.  From our lunch spot we had a very nice winding descent down to the valley floor.  The tandem did well against the stiff head wind across the valley, but then we had a fairly long sustained climb up to Nova Vas.  Everyone was hot and dry by the time we got there so we spent a considerable time in the village square.  After that a few ups and downs for our hotel for the next 2 nights, the Parenzana.
