Loop to Umag

We are starting to get into a rhythm now.  Off at 8:30 we head for the western coast of Istria and to Umag.  It seems to be a very popular resort area.  We soon reached the shore and rode along the coast through small vacation cottages to Umag.

We had a long coffee stop in Umag and hung out with the other tourists for a while.  From there we headed north and west to the westernmost tip of Istria for lunch.  After lunch  we headed back east along the Slovenian border to hotel.   After the ride today Alen invited us over to his home for happy hour.  He lives in the next village over.

Alen has a very nice house and we had a wonderful time.  Riding back to the hotel after the happy hour drinks was a bit of a challenge, but since it was less than a kilometer we all seemed to make it back alright.
